DELL XPS M1330 AHCI DRIVER

I've been eyeing laptops with LED displays and solid-state hard drives for a while now, long before I ever saw the Dell M I noticed an increased boot time on my X38 board since there is an extra window in which all the SATA devices get recognized, but no difference on my X board that doesn't have a separate AHCI bootup window. I love touchpads , and it killed me to have a crappily implemented one. It was the phone call and "about to sue your company if I don't get this issue resolved" that did the trick. I have to spend some time googling and hunting for the drivers Check your PM in about 30 minutes.

Zps do wish they had dropped the optical drive to reduce the weight a bit further, but it's a minor complaint. I love touchpadsand it killed me to have a crappily implemented one. I'd like to start off by saying congrats! Size and, well, price is the only thing keeping solid state hard drives from whci a no-brainer on laptops. This is an outstanding machine for people like me who think laptops were meant to be portable first and foremost.

It's been a while since Dell delivered a laptop ahcci possessed so many awe-inspiring features. The downside, of course, is that it's only 32 GB in size.

Thanks for the previous post and for the upcoming answer. And they're even faster: But the fact that Beware, though, because bit drivers aren't available for the video card yet.

n1330 Point it to C: It's strange, in a way, because the M isn't much of an upgrade from the W3J in terms of absolute hardware specifications. They just need to get the prices down and the sizes up, which will come naturally enough in time. I got it all working already.

The resulting Windows Experience benchmark scores are almost the same for both laptops, too. Perhaps the most striking thing about the machine is the 32 gigabyte solid-state hard drive. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not, but the feel of the keys del, better too. Hence I want to revert to ahcu XP. I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron Laptop that came preloaded with Windows 7. Again, this does NOT install anything.

I will choose the driver to install.

The XPS M is one friggin sexy laptop. But since you post was from a couple years ago and my system is slightly different form the M, I'm not sure if I should use exactly the same driver.

I would suggest you either fiddle around with it if you m13300 feeling braveor just use regular ATA mode for your hard drive. It'll be a lot easier to stomach the size restriction when 64 gigabyte solid state hard drives are more widely available. Nothing like booting up a system with an already-limited 32 GB storage device and finding you only have 16 GB of disk space available.
